The low-temperature Model 4000.3ZL infrared sensor measures temperatures from -40ºC to 100ºC or -40ºC to 212º, with accuracy of 0.5ºC or 1.0ºF.
The standard output is RS-232C or Analog Millivolt. Optional outputs include 4-20 mA or 0-5 Volt.
The Model 4000.3ZL is an excellent choice of instrument when an application involves measuring the surface temperature of an object in the natural environment. It is small enough and lightweight enough to mount and run continuously or measure temperatures at given intervals. It is also an excellent choice of sensor for OEM applications where a fixed-mounted sensor is desirable or necessary.
The Model 4000.3ZL is housed in a stainless steel body and comes with an armored cable, making the instrument very rugged for outdoor use.
For OEM customers, custom configurations are available. A Mounting Ring and a Remote Terminal are available as options.
